Cleanliness is half of faith.

What is the connection between bathing and faith? Between wudu and Paradise? It sounds strange, but this is what Islam teaches, a religion that strongly emphasizes cleanliness. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Cleanliness is half of faith." It's not enough to be diligent in worship if personal hygiene is neglected. Cleanliness isn't just about appearance in the eyes of people, but a reflection of the quality of our faith before Allah.

Maximum 40 Days for Cutting Nails and Removing Body Hair Narrated by Anas: “A time limit has been set for us for trimming the mustache, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hair, and shaving the pubic hair, so that none of these should be neglected for more than forty nights.”

Brushing Your Teeth Rasulullah (ﷺ) said: “If it were not that it would be too difficult for my Ummah (or people), I would have commanded them to use the siwak (tooth-stick) at every prayer.”

Taking Care of Your Hair Rasulullah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever has hair should take good care of it.”

Wearing Perfume Narrated by Anas: “The Prophet (ﷺ) had a fragrant perfume that he used to apply on his body.”

Washing Your Hands After Waking Up from Sleep Rasulullah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever wakes up from sleep should wash both hands first, for no one knows where his hands were during sleep.”
