Asking for things is just part of life. But did you know that the way we ask can determine whether what we receive is blessed or not? The Prophet ﷺ taught three important principles when asking: ask nicely, don't pressure people, and make sure you're not just chasing wealth.

Whoever keeps begging from others will come on the Day of Judgment without a single piece of flesh on their face.

Asking in a Good Manner Rasulullah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever wants to ask for their right should always ask nicely, regardless of whether the person is willing to give it or not.”
Don't Be PushyRasulullah (ﷺ) said: “Don't pressure people when you ask for something! By Allah, if any of you forces me to give you something and I do it reluctantly, you will receive no blessing in what I give you.”
Avoid Asking Just for Wealth Rasulullah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever begs from others with the intention of increasing their wealth, they are only asking for burning coals. It is up to them whether they gather a little or a lot of it.”
